Posted by We kick off our Dad in the Spotlight series for June with a sweet ode to a dad who doesn’t play, but certainly supports his Tiki Solitaire-playing daughter! He’s the kind of dad who puts his family above everything, and we’re happy to wish him a Happy Father’s Day!

What is your Dad’s name?
My amazing dad’s name is Mark!
How did you both discover Tiki Solitaire TriPeaks?
While my dad doesn’t play the game (mostly because he rarely uses a phone for more than a phone call) I discovered the game when I was home sick with the flu a little over a year ago and have played pretty much daily ever since!
Tell us what makes him such an amazing dad.
My dad is truly my hero. He has been there for me through all the good and bad, from the happiest days of my life to the moments I didn’t think I would make it to the next day. While there are too many examples of why my dad is so amazing, I think one of the best is him teaching my sister and I what true love, patience, kindness, and support looks like through his beautiful marriage to our mother for almost 40 years now (and still going!) and the way he has been there for us. He is the type of man that would drop everything just to go help someone whether he knows them or not. Especially for my sister and I, he has never stopped pushing us to do better and picking us up at our weakest and helping us through.
What’s your favorite “Dad” joke?
I don’t think I can pick a “fav dad joke” because it’s almost daily he’s telling us a new one! He’s always finding a way to make us smile/laugh, even through to worst of times.
What’s your favorite Dad?
I have so many favorite dad stories/moments, but one of my favorite times with him is when we go kayaking in the Gulf of Mexico together. My dad is truly my rock and I am so blessed/lucky to have him! 🩷
