Today’s Player Tribute features someone so marvelous, they call him Marvelous Mark. There’s also something about duck butts, Texas BBQ, and, of course, practicing what you preach! Read all about it!
1. What is your name?
Dusty
2. What is the name of the person deserving recognition?
Mark aka Marvelous Mark (nicknamed by our previous Club Leader, shoutout Lynn!)
3. How do you know Marvelous Mark?
We met at the top of the team leaderboard battling it out for 1st place every week
4. Why do you feel he deserves recognition?
As stated above, he is Marvelous Mark! He is a very strong TEAM player, the voice of reason and brings comic relief when things get tense. Plus, he’s just a good person overall!
5. If you were at an awards show, handing them out a “Golden Tiki” to Mark for his amazing work as a Solitaire TriPeaks player, what would you say?
“And now I present to you all, the winner of the Golden Tiki award, someone who has sacrificed hours to snatching Tiki crowns from his teammates each week, given up thousands of Tikis as tribute to the raging Tiki Volcano and pushed his team to be the best they can be with his snarky, yet polite, comments and suggestions (not even sure how he manages to do both at the same time!), THE Marvelous and Most deserving, MARK!” *And the crowd goes wild*
6. And what joke would you tell?
Why do ducks have feathers on their butt? To cover their butt quack!

7. If you could have Mark come visit you for a day, where would you take them and what would you do?
He lives in the UK and I live in Texas so I would definitely take him for some Texas BBQ!
8. What else can you tell us about Mark?
We both have young children and are at a similar stage in our lives so we like to vent to each other about life. Like I said, he lives in a different country so we talk a lot about cultural differences and views. I tolerate his love of sports and he tolerates my weirdness but our favorite thing to do is give each other a hard time!
9. Are you both in the same Tiki Solitaiire Club? If so, which one?
We first met in Team Llommot (miss yall!) but are both currently in Team Tiki Blinkers (Go Blinkers!!!)
10. Any final words you’d like to share with the rest of the Solitaire TriPeaks Community?
I would say don’t take the game too seriously, but I live by the motto “practice what you preach” and so I am not going to say that 😉
