Get ready to gallop into cuteness because the latest residents of the Animal Sanctuary have arrived, and things are about to get stripe-tacular!
Meet the newest stars of the Sanctuary: Zebras! Players can now care for these dazzling striped charmers, customize their sunny savannah habitat, and earn some seriously zebra-tastic rewards. Saddle up, and help these bold beings feel right at home! 🦓🌿
WHERE IS IT AND HOW DOES IT WORK?
Look for the Animal Sanctuary icon right on your home screen, just to the left of the FREE COINS icon. Your savannah escape with a bold new buddy is just a tap away!
When you first enter, you’ll be greeted by Mini-Tiki Steph, your cheerful guide and zebra enthusiast. Steph needs your help to restore the Sanctuary, which is looking a bit… less safari-chic and more overgrown chaos at the moment.
Steph will teach you how to adopt, name, feed, and love your very first zebra. Plus, you’ll learn how to tidy up and decorate their habitat with flair and finesse.
FIRST THINGS FIRST: YOU’LL NEED PAWS FOR THE CAUSE!
In order to care for your zebra, you’ll need a currency called Paws, which look like, well, paws:
Steph will start you off with 10 to get the adventure started! Use Paws to feed your zebra, play with them, and spruce up their habitat.
Once you’ve been guided on using your first round of Paws, you’ll be given the simple instructions on how to earn Paws: Time to trot into new levels!
That’s right – Paws will be awarded by earning NEW Gold Stars when you win a game. This means you’ll have to play games where you haven’t earned all the Gold Stars available yet. For every Gold Star earned, you’ll be rewarded with 5 Paws. If you earn all 3 Gold Stars, you’ll gallop away with 15 Paws! If you use the Multiplier feature, you potentially triple your paws! Whoa Nelly!
MEET YOUR NEW SANCTUARY FRIEND!
Once your zebra is fed and settled, it’s time to name them, explore their home, and bring the savannah to life!
We’re going to name this one something kind of cute, that also signifies that we want to have even MORE zebras to take care of:
CARING FOR YOUR ZEBRA!
Just like us, zebras love a good meal, a tidy home, and lots of attention. Feed them, clean their space, and show them some love, and they’ll kick up their heels in appreciation. That’s where YOU come in!
Look for the NEXT STEP icon, in the lower right corner, to continue your journey:
After you’ve admired how cute your new zebra is, you’ll learn the basics of taking care of your zebra. After you feed them, you’ll want to clear away the old overgrowth then you’ll probably need to earn some more Paws:
Remember – while you CAN play and win levels on which you’ve only earned one or two stars, you’re better off playing NEW levels so that you can earn as many Gold Stars as possible to generate the most Paws! They add up pretty quickly, so play a few games, and you’ll be able to come back and decorate!
Pro tip: if you play with the Multiplier feature, you’ll earn Paws in no time!
In the image below, you’ll see two arrows. The top arrow shows you what zone you’re in, and how far along you are before you reach the next zone. The lower arrow shows the decor you have just given your happy zebra:
After adding some cute decos, you can then celebrate with your zebra! Soon, you’ll finish Zone 1, and unlock Zone 2. From there, you’ll continue to tidy up the habitat, decorate it, feed, and play with your zebra, and reap some rewards before you discover your NEXT zebra!
As you play and decorate, you’ll find that the Habitat is always evolving! Over time, you will continuously discover NEW animal friends you’ll be able to invite into your Animal Sanctuary! Let’s go!
