The Solitaire TriPeaks Updated Guide to Club Competitions

Posted by

We are very excited to announce updates to the Club Competition! Now, your Club can go head-to-head with four other Clubs for Gem Rewards with refreshed rules and new features.

Here’s everything you need to know!

SUMMARY:

The Club Competition is a two-day event where five Clubs compete for Gem Rewards. Participation is simple! A Club must Qualify on the first day and then Compete the following day against four other Clubs. Clubs earn Gem rewards at the end of the competition based on their rank among the five competing Clubs.

To access Club Competitions, tap the “Competition” button in the bottom left corner of the Club Island screen.

STAGE ONE: QUALIFYING

To participate in a Club Competition, at least 4 members of your Club must qualify. Qualifying is how a Club member signals to their Club that they plan to contribute during the competition. Depending on the number of Club members who qualify, your Treasure Island may have fewer squares to dig in to keep things fair.

How to Qualify:

  1. Be a member of the Club at the start of the Qualifying Stage.
  2. Play a single game during the 24-hour Qualifying Stage by tapping the “Qualify” button in the Competition Lobby. Winning the game is not required, completion is enough!

Once qualified, you’ll see a green check next to your name. Encourage your fellow Club members to qualify to meet the 10-member minimum requirement.

If at least 10 members qualify by the end of the stage, the Club will be matched with four other Clubs and automatically entered into the competition!

STAGE TWO: THE COMPETITION

Once the Qualifying Stage ends, the Competition Stage begins immediately. Qualified Clubs will have 24 hours to compete against four other Clubs. During the Competition Stage, Club members earn Shovels and use them to collaboratively dig up buried Gold on a “Treasure Island” (explanation to follow). The more Gold your Club uncovers, the greater the chance you have at winning top Gem rewards! But before you can start digging, you will need to earn Shovels.

Earning Shovels:

Shovels are the key to success in Club Competitions, representing “digs” used to uncover buried Gold. Here’s how to earn Shovels:

  • Win games from the Competition Lobby to earn Shovels instead of Stars. Players can earn up to 3 Shovels per game:
    • Goal: Earned by winning the Competition Level.
    • Streak: Earned by filling the streak meter completely before winning the Competition Level.
    • Speed: Earned by completing the Competition Level before the Timer runs out.

This player has earned 2 out of a possible 3 Shovels.

Important Details:

  • You only have 11 chances to earn Shovels: 1 in the Qualifying Stage and 10 chances in the Competition Stage.
  • Each player can earn up to 33 Shovels per competition.

Got Shovels? Now Dig!

After earning Shovels, use them immediately to dig for Gold on Treasure Island. It is a small, but delightful island, where you’ll see a nice plot of land. Each square has Gold buried beneath it, but how much there is an how deep the Gold is buried is a mystery. Each Club has their own Treasure Island, but the buried treasure is identical to the islands of the other 4 competing Clubs.

Collaborate with your Club to uncover as much Gold as possible. A shovel will be used to dig once for Gold.

Note:

  • If a Club has already uncovered gold in a square, then you cannot dig the same square.
  • You cannot make two consecutive digs on the same square; another Club member must dig before you can dig again.

Once a player has tapped a valid square to dig, one Shovel will go to work and dig. In most cases the dig will not uncover Gold and the Club will have to collaborate to dig deeper on that square. Remember: you can only dig on a single square one time. But you can dig deeper if the square has already been dug by one or more other Club members.

Square A-1 has struck gold!

Once a player has no more Shovels, they may continue on to the next round for a chance to win more. Earn more Shovels and collaborate with Club members to uncover gold.

Score – Uncovering Gold!

Here’s the nitty gritty: Each of the squares on Treasure Island has Gold. The number of “digs” (or shovels used) to uncover Gold on each square will vary. Players can check out the Rules Info in-game understand how the number of “digs” (or Shovels used) correlates to the Gold reward: the deeper a Club must dig, the more Gold they will find!

Each of the 5 Clubs will be ranked continuously throughout the competition based on the Score of Gold they have found. The more Gold your Club uncovers, the higher your rank and rewards!

Rewards

At the end of the competition, participants earn Gem rewards based on their Club’s final rank. Final ranks are determined by the number of Gold each Club has uncovered. Clubs that tie are ranked equally, but a Club’s Rank will always be one less than the number of Clubs that ranked higher than them.

Additionally:

  • Clubs that fail to uncover at least 1 Gold bar will remain unranked and their members will not receive any Gem rewards.
  • A consolation prize will be awarded to participants in unranked Clubs.

Rewards are distributed equally to all Club members who qualified, even if they didn’t participate during the Competition Stage.
