Our latest wild and wonderful addition is here, and it’s paws-itively thrilling! ✨
Introducing the newest resident of the Animal Sanctuary, where players can now care for wolves, customize and decorate their rugged woodland habitat, and earn some seriously wild rewards! Step into the pack, unleash your creativity, and build the ultimate wolf den! 🐾🌲
WHERE IS IT AND HOW DOES IT WORK?
The icon for Animal Sanctuary has a permanent place right on your home screen, just to the left of the FREE COINS icon, and will be there whenever you want to check-in.
When you first log in, you’ll be introduced to a delightful Mini-Tiki named Steph, who asks for your help in rebuilding the Animal Sanctuary, which has fallen into great disrepair.
Steph will be your Sanctuary Guide throughout your initial experience, walking you through the steps towards adopting, naming, and feeding your first wolf, and teach you how to clean up and decorate your wolf’s habitat.
FIRST THINGS FIRST: YOU’LL NEED PAWS FOR THE CAUSE!
In order to care for your wolf, you’ll need a currency called Paws, which look like, well, paws:
And one of the very first things Steph will do is to supply you with your first batch of Paws!
With these, you’ll be able to feed, play with, clean and decorate your wolf’s habitat. Thanks, Steph!
Once you’ve been guided on using your first round of Paws, you’ll be given the simple instructions on how to earn Paws:
That’s right – Paws will be awarded by earning NEW Gold Stars when you win a game. This means you’ll have to play games where you haven’t earned all the Gold Stars available yet. For every Gold Star earned, you’ll be rewarded with 5 Paws. If you earn all three Gold Stars, you’ll earn 15 Paws! If you use the Multiplier feature, you potentially triple your paws!
MEET YOUR NEW SANCTUARY FRIEND!
You’ve already fed this cutie, now you get to meet them, name them and explore their habitat!
We’re going to name this one something kind of cute, that also signifies that we want to have even MORE wolves to take care of:
CARING FOR YOUR WOLF!
Animals aren’t that different than people. Well, okay, actually they are quite a bit different, but they do share some of the same qualities. Like us, they need to eat, they want their surroundings to be tidy, and they want to feel loved and appreciated. That’s where YOU come in!
Look for the NEXT STEP icon, in the lower right corner, to continue your journey:
After you’ve admired how cute your new wolf is, you’ll learn the basics of taking care of your wolf. After you feed them, you’ll want to clear away the old, overgrown bushes, then you’ll probably need to earn some more Paws:
Remember – while you CAN play and win levels on which you’ve only earned one or two stars, you’re better off playing NEW levels so that you can earn as many Gold Stars as possible to generate the most Paws! They add up pretty quickly, so play a few games, and you’ll be able to come back and decorate! Pro tip: if you play with the Multiplier feature, you’ll earn Paws in no time!
In the image below, you’ll see two arrows. The top arrow shows you what zone you’re in, and how far along you are before you reach the next zone. The lower arrow shows the decor you have just given your happy wolf:
After adding some plants, you can then celebrate with your wolf! Soon, you’ll finish Zone 1, and unlock Zone 2. From there, you’ll continue to tidy up the habitat, decorate it, feed your wolf, play with your wolf, and reap some rewards before you discover your NEXT wolf!
As you play and decorate, you’ll find that the Habitat is always evolving! Over time you will continuously discover NEW animal friends you’ll be able to invite into your Animal Sanctuary!
