Posted by We kick off this year’s “Mom in the Spotlight” with a truly touching tribute from a loving daughter to an amazing mom – and this one even includes a surprise celebrity guest! Sort of, anyway – you’ll see when you read it!

My name is Brittany
2. What is your Mom’s name?
My mom’s name is Pamela
3. How did you both discover Solitaire TriPeaks?
I found Solitaire TriPeaks through an ad in the App Store, and, after playing for a year or so, introduced the game to my mom!
4. Are you both in Clubs? Are you in the SAME Club?
We created and run a club together called The Dazzle, filled with some amazing members that have become our family.
5. How does Solitaire TriPeaks help your relationship?
My mom and I have always been partners in crime, so playing Solitaire TriPeaks together was an obvious choice when we both realized that we love the game!
Playing together strengthens that bond even more. We have all these little inside jokes about the game that only we get, and we get to enjoy the weird looks my dad gives us as we laugh about the game.
6. Have you ever had an argument over the game?
There haven’t been arguments over the game but we have had our debates.
7. Be honest – who is the better player?
I think that I’m the better player. I’ve earned the nicknames “Speedy” and “Blurry Fingers” because I am known to play levels quickly and get through quests in no time. My mom’s skills are right up there with mine, having 1.6 million lifetime points each in our Club since October 2021.
8. What’s your favorite “Mom” story?
My favorite “Mom” story took place on June 1st, 2018. I got selected by Taylor Swift’s mom to go backstage
and meet Taylor after the concert. My mom knew how big of a dream that was, dating back to the first time I heard a Taylor Swift song in 2006. When the moment came, my mom had tears streaming down her face as we met Taylor together. She didn’t want to be in the picture because of how emotional she was, but Taylor and I insisted, and we ended up with my favorite picture in the whole world. My mom loves me so much that she was just as happy to see me living out my dream as I was having my dream come true!
9. What’s your mom’s favorite story about you?
I’m writing this as a surprise, so I don’t want to give it away by asking her. I know she loves that same day, because we both cry thinking about it nearly 4 years later, but I think her favorite story is how I’ve persevered through all of the obstacles my physical health has thrown my way. I’ve dealt with more in my 22 years than most people do in their lives and have kept going despite it. The truth is, I wouldn’t have been able to keep going had it not been for her.
My mom is my rock and I am grateful to have her.
10. Do you have any final thoughts you’d like to share with the Solitaire TriPeaks Community?
My mom is truly the best mom anyone could ask for. I won big in the “Mom Lottery” and I just love her so much.
