Posted by Truth be told, we definitely expected a LOT of people to nominate their cats for the Player Pet Spotlight, and we weren’t disappointed! We kick off this series with not one, but THREE adorable pets by one committed pet owner, who has also managed to play TriPeaks every single day since beginning in 2018!
1. What is your name and how long have you been playing Solitaire TriPeaks?
My name is Stephanie and I have been playing TriPeaks since November, 2018! Have never skipped a day!
2. What are the names of your pet/s?
I have 2 cats, Mochaccino and Cappuccino AKA Mochi and Cappi. I also have a Dog named Libby! They are all rescues.
3. Cute! What are their breeds?
Mochi is a medium-hair tortie and Cappi is a short-hair. Libby is a Yorki/Pomeranian!
4. How did these cuties come into your life?
After a very-loved cat of ours passed away, I begged my husband for a couple of years for another cat. Eventually I broke him down and went and picked up Mochi. I got her from a rescue organization as a kitten. And then I thought that she was lonely and needed a friend so I convinced my husband that you can’t just have one cat because then they will mess with you, we had to have a friend for her to mess with. So that is when I went back to the rescue and got Cappi.
Our dog Libby was a stray living on the streets in Oklahoma City. She was brought in by some friends of ours but they were moving and could not take her to their new place. So we decided to go pick her up it was a huge ordeal because my niece went to get her for me and she opened the door at a gas station on the way back and Libby ran away. So they lost her an hour away from our home and stayed trying and trying to catch her, but she had her 2 year old daughter so eventually had to leave. We were calling and posting things all night the next day a man brought some food and sat up there and finally captured her he called us he kept her until we drove an hour to where she was at and picked her up! Ever since she has been by our side.
5. What are the cutest things they do?
Cats- Snuggling up together of course! Libby-she BEGS for belly rubs and puts her hands up like she is praying and moves them up and down until we pet her.
6. What’s the one thing you wish your pet would stop doing?
Cats- if they want in a particular room they claw at the door to get in until I go open it, they really believe they can open it on their own. Libby- she is a RUNNER ! If we are not careful opening the door she will dart past us and she looks like Falkor from the Neverending Story! She runs so fast and all of her hair flows back.
7. How do they encourage you to keep playing TriPeaks?
Well, right now I am writing this because of them and when they are in the spotlight I will get some coins to play! Hahaha. But they love me and support my choices!
8. What’s the funniest story you have about them?
Well…. as a gag gift I bought my Husband some pills that make his farts smell like roses for Christmas, and he left the bottle on the couch. Well the next morning we found that Libby had chewed through the bottle and ate all the fart pills, needless to say for the remainder of the day she was leaving us rose scented surprises all over. Don’t worry, the pills were not harmful!
9. There’s something I never thought I’d see! That is ridiculously hilarious. Are you in a Club? If so, do they all know about your pets?
I am the leader of “Central Perk-the one where they win” and only one person in the group knows as she is my best friend. But actually we recently started using our Facebook group page more and that is a great idea for a thread we could start!
10. Do you have any final words you’d like to share regarding your sweeties?
If I won the lottery tomorrow I would LOVE to open a Cat sanctuary! My Husband is not a cat person so he will only let me have two, but of course if we had a separate wing in our mansion I can have all of the cats I wanted and he would never have to see them!
