1. What is your name and how long have you been playing Solitaire TriPeaks?
Karen, but in the game I go by Karebear<3 and I have been playing TriPeaks since June, 2017.
2. What is the name of your dog?
My dog’s name is Sadieđ¶
3. What breed or type is Sadie?
Sadie is a Chocolate Lab/Pit Bull Mix
4. How did Sadie come into your life?
Oh boy. We had suddenly lost our dog, Pooka, who got sick and passed away 6 months prior. We were heartbroken and swore we wouldnât get another dog after losing her. It was too painful. Pooka was a huge part of my life and my Facebook as I posted pics, told stories about her – you might say she was Facebook popular. Someone reached out to me that lives in my area 6 months after Pooka passed asking if or anyone I knew was looking for a dog. He was trying to find a home for his dog due to working 14 hr days.
Longer story short I couldnât resist. Sadie was 11 months old at the time and I was still very depressed over losing my furry best friend. We needed each otherđ„° Our house is not a home without a dog and I knew Pooka would want us to take in and love another dog in need of a good home. So we adopted our Sadieâșïž
5. Whatâs the cutest thing Sadie does?
Thereâs so many. One of my favorite things Sadie does is watches tv. We watch Pitbulls and Parolees 5 together and she will lie next to me watching as if she were human. When a dog is on the tv screen Sadie will, at times, charge the tv barking. Itâs pretty funny to watch.
6. Whatâs the one thing you wish she would stop doing?
Stealing money out of my daughters purse. Yes, I said money, lol. I donât know what it is, but she finds it and tears it up. So far the biggest bill was a ten. Weâve had to stop leaving loose money anywhere!
7. How does she encourage you to keep playing TriPeaks?
Sadie is a very clingy pooch… sheâs a Mamaâs girl and has to sleep in middle of my legs whenever possible. So, if I sit to play TriPeaks and Sadie gets in âher spotâ the hour Iâve planned on playing has now turned into 2 or 3 because I wonât disturb Sadie. (At least thatâs my excuse to get more playtime)
8. Whatâs the funniest story you have about something she’s done?
Iâm not sure itâs the funniest but definitely one of cutest- Sadies ADORES kids. My friend lives downstairs with a 6, 5, and 2 year-old. The 6 & 5 year-olds grew up with Pooka. The 2 year-old is now growing up with Sadie. Sheâs very protective in the sense she doesnât really want anyone touching him. The other day we were all in the yard and the 2 year-old’s dad was trying to sit him on a hammock and was having trouble because the hammock kept sliding out from underneath. Sadie was watching intently. The 2 year-old eventually got on but fell on the ground and his dad picked him up and Sadie ran over, jumped up on the dad as if to say, âhands offâ and when he put the child down Sadie kissed him making sure he was okay.
9. That is adorable. Are you in a Club? If so, do they all know about Sadie?
Yes, I am in the Club, “All Perks Plz” since 2017. They all knew of my Pooka and yes they know of Sadie. Some of us are Facebook friends so they see the Sadie Postsđ
10. Do you have any final words youâd like to share regarding Sadie?
Absolutely. First and foremost, please adopt a pet before you buy from a store or a breeder. There are so many animals in shelters that need good homes. Secondly, please donât assume Pit Bulls are bad or mean dogs. Having owned two and known many Pit Bulls, it truly depends, as with any breed of dog, how theyâre raised. Sadie is the funniest, sassiest, most friendly dog and would lick you to death before she aggressively hurt anyone in any way. If you havenât already HUG YOUR FURBABY TODAYđ¶đ±â€ïž
