Posted by

It’s always so heartening to read the many Player Tributes that come in, and there have been a LOT of them! It certainly makes the holidays feel more jolly! Today we meet Gail, who pays tribute to her Clubmate, Karen… complete with two jokes for one!

1. What is your name?

Gail

2. What is the name of the person deserving recognition?

Karen

3. How do you know Karen?

Friend and Teammate

4. Why do you feel she deserves recognition?

She is a fun player who goes over and above for our team. She is a very supportive leader who gives great tips and help to new players and players who are learning new islands.

5. If you were at an awards show, handing her a “Golden Tiki” for her amazing work as a Solitaire TriPeaks player, what would you say?

“She is a fun player who goes over and above for our team. She is a very supportive leader who gives great tips and help to new players and players who are learning new islands. She also plays her heart out to make sure our team stays high on the boards.”

6. And what joke would you tell?

The good thing about having a bad memory is that jokes can be funny more than once.

“I got myself a seniors GPS…

… Not only does it tell me how to get to my destination, it tells me why I wanted to go there.”

7. If you could have Karen come visit you for a day, where would you take her and what would you do?

Take her for a convertible ride and show her our part of Indiana, eat good food and just talk.

8. What else can you tell us about her?

She has a husband and takes care of her mother who has health issues. She is incredibly supportive of friends and family. She loves her animals and takes care of her neighbors like family. She is always making them meals, taking them to appointments or just helping clean up outside, especially after hurricanes.

9. Are you both in the same TriPeaks Club? If so, which one?

Yes, Silver Linings

10. Any final words you’d like to share with the rest of the Solitaire TriPeaks Community?

She’s taken me under her wing and helped me improve my game play and be a better teammate.
