Start Your Blenders! It’s the 2023 Poi’s Juice Joint Jam!

Jonesin’ for a Juice Jam? Poi’s got you covered! Today, on National Smoothie Day, we’re launching the 2023 Tiki Solitaire TriPeaks Poi’s Juice Joint Jam contest, and we’d love it if you would share your jazzy, joyous, , jovial and original juice recipes with us and the rest of the community!

How does it work? Simple. The contest runs for one week, between 12:01AM Eastern on June 21st to 11:59PM Eastern on June 28th, giving you plenty of time to dig up or remember your favorite recipe, or procure some of your favorite flavors and create a liquid masterpiece!  Recipes must be, to your knowledge, your own.

Here are the Poi’s Juice Joint Jam Guidelines:

  1. Find your perfect juice recipe! The recipe should require between 3 and 7 plant-based ingredients that are generally available in some form nearly everywhere; come with exact measurements and instructions; be non-alcoholic with no added sugar (honey, agave, and other natural sweeteners are okay) or powders; and contain no weird things, like “rose-petal juice”, “liquified tree sap”, “pond water” or items you wouldn’t find in an average grocery store. While most fruits, vegetables, herbs, and spices are certainly allowed – be careful! Your Habanero-Jalapeño-Ghost Pepper Cinnamon Limeade will likely never get made. Furthermore, if the ingredients are too obscure, we might not be able to find them.
  2. Name your juice, create an introduction, and post it with your recipe in the Forum! So long as it’s clean (no bad language!), not controversial, and non-political, you can name it whatever you want! And then you’ll want to post your recipe under the 2023 Poi’s Juice Joint Jam Forum Post. Along with your recipe, you will need to post your first name, last initial, a brief introduction to your juice and why it’s your favorite, and, of course, the title of your drink. As any great artist will attest, naming your creation is half the fun.
  3. Judicious Jurors Are Selected! During the event period, contest organizers at Tiki Solitaire TriPeaks will be recruiting the Juice Jurors from our most judgmental juice-appreciating employees. Together, the Juice Jury will comb through the recipes, looking for the ones that look the tastiest.
  4. Let the Juicing Begin! On June 29th, we’ve already tasked our Director of Operations with supplying the ingredients, and we have our juicers tuned-up and ready to blend. Then the tasting begins! Because we don’t want to overwhelm the taster’s buds or fill them up before we finish, each juror will only have between 2 and 3 sips to appraise and evaluate each recipe. After every tasting, jurors will fill out a “Flavor Profile” for each juice they taste, giving the juice a rating of between 1 and 10, and categorizing them into a category befitting the juice (examples:  “Sweetest Sour”, “Most Kid-Friendly”, “Fantastically Fruit-Forward”, “Vegetable Vibrations”, etc…)  Once the tasting has been completed, and the Flavor Profiles have been completed, the Juice Jurors will run the numbers and determine the winning recipes.
  5. Winners Announced! On Friday, June 30th, we will announce the winners, and they will be awarded these juicy prizes:
    1. Tiki Solitaire TriPeaks Winning Mug! Complete with the Tiki TriPeaks Logo, the placement of the juice (first through tenth) and the event name!
    2. In-game Coins! The top ten winners will receive FIVE HUNDRED THOUSAND Tiki Solitaire TriPeaks Coins!
    3. Boosters! The top ten winners will also receive 5 Wilds, 3 Volcanoes, and 5 of each of the other Boosters (Red Star Boosters, More Time, Streak Doublers, Shark Hooks, Trap Torches, Bomb Defusers, Wave Breakers, Defrosters, More Cards, Undos and Club Point Doublers).
    4. Juice Mugs Sent! Poi’s Juice Jam 2023 winners should expect their Winning Mugs within 30 to 60 days after the winners are announced.
