Today’s Club Leader Spotlight focuses on Marian, the leader of .RO, who has many members hailing from Romania! It sounds like he has done a wonderful job of being competitive, while feeling like a family.

When Deb came to this Club to help out with a Tribute Quest, she didn’t imagine staying… until she met Jackie, whose firm, but kind, style of leadership appealed to her. So, we can assume when she realized it was the right Club for her, she said: “Stick a fork in it! It’s done!” and hasn’t looked back. 

She’s not the first person to lead this particular Club, but she brings with her a knack for knowing exactly what to say and when that keeps this Club feeling far more like a family than a Club. Oh, yes, and then there’s what happened in Vegas… 

This week we had TWO people nominate the same leader for this Club Leader Spotlight. The best part is that on a couple of the questions they had different answers! But on the important questions, they were aligned, and they make it clear that Tony is one great Club Leader!

Where else can you find players who, when they want to REALLY drive home what they want from you, put their instructions in their actual name? Today we meet “Tammy Read Club Notes”, whose very game name gives you some not-so-subtle instructions!

With the name “I am the Phoeni” one might expect that last word to to be the plural of “Phoenix”, but would be “Phoenixes” or “Phoenices.” But in this case, there’s a perfectly logical reason this Club has the name it does. Read on…
