Pet Spotlight: Meet Chip & Dale, Owners of Melissa!

Posted by

Losing a pet to cancer is an exhausting and emotional tragedy. One that Melissa was suffering from before Chip and Dale entered her life. They helped her through the grief, and continue to help her through cuddling while she plays Tiki Solitaire TriPeaks.

What is your name and how long have you been playing Tiki Solitaire?
My name is Melissa and I’ve been playing Tiki Solitaire for 965 days straight!

What are the names of these two lovely creatures?
My two cats are named Chip and Dale.

What breed or type is are Chip and Dale?
They are Domestic Short Haired Tuxedo cats.

How did they come into your life?
I rescued them from an animal shelter less than two months ago after my previous precious kitty passed away from cancer.

What’s the cutest thing they do?
The cutest things my cats do are give me Eskimo kisses and give each other baths.

What’s one thing you wish they’d stop doing?
I’m currently training them to stop jumping on the kitchen counters!

How do Chip and Dale encourage you to keep playing Tiki Solitaire?
My sweet boys encourage me to keep playing TriPeaks by snuggling up and sleeping next to me while I play before bedtime.

Do you have any cute stories about something crazy they’ve done?
They both love the top shelf of their cat tower, so sometimes one will be laying up there and the other will jump up and try to make room to lay down and end up pushing the other one off! “This is my spot, now!”

Are you in a Club? If so, do they all know about Chip and Dale?
I am in the MudHut Club and they have all seen pictures of my newest furbabies!

Do you have any final words you’d like to share?
Without Tiki Solitaire and my new kitties, I’m not sure how I would’ve been able to move past the grief of losing my first cat, so THANK YOU!!
