Pet Spotlight: Meet Zombie and Rylee, owner of Brigitte!

Posted by

Will the cuteness ever cease? Not this week, that’s for sure. Today we meet Zombie and Rylee, two dogs of a very different feather who are keeping life for Brigitte adorable together.

1. What is your name and how long have you been playing Tiki Solitaire TriPeaks?

Hi. My name is Brigitte, and I have been playing Tiki Solitaire TriPeaks for over 7 years.

2. What are the names of your pets?

The name of my pets are Zombie and Rylee.

3. What breeds are they?

Zombie is a pure bred American pit bull, and Rylee is a rescued mutt, mostly yorkie, we think.

4. How did Zombie and Rylee come into your life?

They are both “Granddogs”, belonging to our beautiful grandkids. When our oldest grandchild was 3, her birthday present was a little black and white puppy that she named “Zombie Dog The Pibble”. She couldn’t pronounce pit bull, so she called him Pibble. For whatever reason, when she called for him, he only answered to Zombie, never to Pibble, so his name stuck, Zombie.

The little dog is a rescue, coming into our life as the pet of a friend, also living with our grandkids now. She is very quiet, mostly, but when she starts her little high pitched voice barking, the big one even stops barking to let her have the spotlight. She is the star and always steals the show.

5. What are the cutest thing they do?

When the little dog, Rylee, takes the big dog’s big bone treat, dragging it away. The bone is much bigger and heavier than her. Lol

She does this every time they get bones. The big one, Zombie, lets her do this for a while, then he grabs his bone gently, lifting Rylee right up off the floor since she is still playing tug with the bone. He always releases her onto his dog bed gently, where the smaller dog bone is waiting for her. They then chomp on their bones side by side, like best friends.

6. What’s the one thing you wish they would stop doing?

Sitting on my feet. Both do this. The big one, Zombie, sits on my left foot, and the little one, Rylee, on my right foot. Sometimes even at the same time. I think that’s a statement that they claim ownership of me, or that they feel the need to protect me. It happens every time I visit them.

7. How  do Rylee and Zombie encourage you to play Tiki Solitaire TriPeaks?
They literally fall asleep while laying on my feet. Since I can’t go anywhere when they do that, I might as well play TriPeaks. 🙂

8. What’s the funniest story you have about something they did?

Both pets love to have their picture taken. They sit still and look adorable. One time, they both placed themselves right in front of me on top of the couch while I was taking pictures of my family. They kept barking at me to take a picture of them too. Only when I put my smartphone in front of them and told them to smile and say cheese, that’s when they stopped barking and posed adorably for their pic. Funny pets.

9. Are you in a Club? If so, do they know about Rylee and Zombie?

I am in an awesome Club called Mo-Jo Risin’ – the Club doesn’t know about the pets. They will soon, though, after you publish my Pet Spotlight story.

10. Do you have any final words you’d like to share regarding these cuties?

I cannot have any pets of my own, other than aquarium fish, so I enjoy my Grandpets, every time I have the opportunity.
