Posted by Coming into this world was no easy journey for Fletch, as giving birth to him and his siblings would be the final act his mother would perform before passing. Luckily, Malori and his wife were around to take him in as a newborn and care for him as he grew into the sweet boy he has become.
What is your name and how long have you been playing TriPeaks?
My name is Malori and I’ve been playing since 2019 (I think… that’s as far back as I can remember).
Nice to meet you, Malori, what is the name of your pet?
His government name is “Fletcher Jameson.” But my wife and I call him Fletch or Bubby.
What breed or type is Fletcher Jameson?
He’s a one-half Husky and one-half Blue Heeler.
How did Fletch come into your life?
My mother-in-law. Her boyfriend’s dog had puppies and the momma ended up dying trying to give birth, so we took him in at 30-weeks old and had to bottle feed him till he could eat puppy food.
Wow! That’s wonderful you were there. What’s the cutest thing he does?
When he sleeps on his back with all four legs in the air, I just love it.
What’s the one thing you wish he would stop doing?
I definitely wish he’d stop shredding paper towels anytime he gets ahold of one.
How does Fletch encourage you to keep playing Tiki Solitaire?
He lays his head in my lap while I play and he always looks so cute and sweet, so I don’t wanna move and disturb him, which results in me playing for as long as i absolutely can.
Love it. What’s the funniest story you have about something he’s done?
One time he was laying on the couch asleep in a little ball. He was snoring and was sleeping hard. Well, he ended up farting so loud that my wife and I both looked at each other laughing. It was so loud, in fact, that it scared him awake and then he just stared at his butt like “what was that?”
Are you in a Club? If so, do they all know about Fletch?
I am in a Club (let’s go, Boo Hoo!), but I’m not sure if they know about him. I’ve mentioned him maybe once, but that’s about it.
Do you have any final words you’d like to share regarding Fletch?
Some people look at pets as simply that, a pet, but I look at this dog as my fur-child. Everyday when I get home from work, I’ll greet him before I even greet my wife. When I’m at home, he’s always right there next to me. He follows me every time I go to the bathroom, and also stands outside the tub when I shower. He’s my best friend. I would do literally anything for him. I cherish every moment we spend together because as much as I want it, I know he won’t be here forever. I know I have a lifetime ahead of me to get more pets, but I’m the only life he knows, so I plan to give him the best dang life he could ever want.
