Club Spotlight: Meet Third Party!

If you’re a member of this Club, you may just need to have your “Third Party” sign off on any health related hospital visits! You’ll find out why in the interview, but let’s just say that the dedication exhibited by these members is nothing short of “obsessive”!

1. What is the name of your Club, what league are you in, and who is your Club Leader?

We are “Third Party”, we’re in Diamond League, and “Coach” is our Club Leader–a fitting name, as he is both a leader and a coach.

2. And who is your Club Co Leader?

We have several Club Co-Leaders–Gina, Lynn, Carmen, Bleu, Nancy, Rose and Anice.

3. How long has your Club been around?

The Club has been around at least 4 years.

4. What’s your motto?

The one that’s posted is, “32,000/wk, 10K/Saturday midnite, complete CQ’s, chat”, but Coach would say our motto is “TEAM!”

5. What do you talk about in the Chat Channel?

We get to know each other, so we talk about everything!

6. What are some things you all have in common?

We all love the game and have developed a close and supportive relationship with one another.

7. What’s something that’s unique or especially interesting about your Club?

The level of dedication to the Club is amazing! One lady had recent heart surgery and began playing the game as soon as she woke up! Another member had a beautiful baby girl, and she was playing the game while in labor! So many stories like this… but the most recent one is that our beloved leader had back surgery and was playing the game immediately before and after surgery.

8. Who’s the hardest working Club Member?

It’s so hard to identify one member–we have so many who work hard. I’d have to say it’s Gina. She’s consistently a top scorer, and is a kind and dedicated co-leader as well.

9. Who’s the funniest?

As I look back at our conversations, the one that gets the most laughs seems to be Heather.
